30. Uluslararası Ankara Caz Festivali, kapanış konserinde METU Big Band’i şef Ümit Eroğlu yönetiminde, Türkiye caz sahnesinin güçlü vokallerinden Sibel Köse ve Meltem Ege ile bir araya getiriyor. Genç müzisyenlerin enerjisini deneyimli sanatçıların birikimiyle buluşturan konser, festivalin 30. yılını ODTÜ Kültür ve Kongre Merkezi’nde kutluyor. Mekan katkılarından dolayı Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi’ne teşekkür ederiz.

2007 yılında Ümit Eroğlu öncülüğünde kurulan METU Big Band, ODTÜ öğrenci ve mezunlarından oluşan köklü bir caz orkestrasıdır. Topluluk, big band geleneğini genç kuşak müzisyenlerin enerjisiyle sahneye taşıyor.

Bu proje, T.C. Kültür ve Turizm Bakanlığı katkıları ile hazırlanmıştır.

The 30th International Ankara Jazz Festival brings METU Big Band, conducted by Ümit Eroğlu, together with two distinguished vocalists of the Turkish jazz scene, Sibel Köse and Meltem Ege, for the festival’s closing concert. Combining the energy of young musicians with the experience of established artists, this special performance celebrates the festival’s 30th anniversary at the ODTÜ Culture and Convention Center. We would like to thank Middle East Technical University for their venue contribution.

Founded in 2007 under the direction of Ümit Eroğlu, METU Big Band is a long-established jazz orchestra composed of ODTÜ students and alumni. The ensemble brings the big band tradition to the stage through the energy of a new generation of musicians.

With the contributions of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Türkiye.
