Selah Ucla - English Stand-up Comedy Show
Selah was a receptionist at a shitty hostel in Istanbul. He met some hippies — the hippies met him with drugs — and that’s how the addiction began.
After years of being an addict, one night Selah prayed to God:
“Hey God, help me.”
And God did… just not in the way he expected.
A week later, Selah was diagnosed with cancer.
Lying in a hospital bed, he started to write jokes — some born in that white room, some later, when life after cancer didn’t quite make sense.
He realized something: if he ever got out, he would speak the truth with no filters.
“Cancer” is that promise on stage.
It’s about hostel life, nurses, drugs, and all the uncomfortable facts people know but never say out loud.
Raw, dark, and brutally honest — this show is not for sensitive people.
